From that time forth Jesus began to declare unto his disciples, how it was expedient for him to go unto Jerusalem and to suffer many things of the elders and the princes of the priests and of the scribes and to be killed and to be raised again the third day.

And the princes of the priests taking the silver pieces, said, It is not lawful to put them into the treasury because it is the price of blood.
Now when they were going, behold, some of the guard came into the city and reported unto the chief priests all the things that were done.
