Immediately after the tribulations of those days, shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of heaven shall move.
Did I ever greatly regard the rising of the sun? Or, had I the going down of the moon in great reputation?
The sun and moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall withdraw their light.
Thy Sun shall never go down, and thy Moon shall not be taken away, for the LORD himself shall be thine everlasting light, and thy sorrowful days shall be rewarded thee.
Behold, the Moon shineth nothing in comparison to him, and the stars are unclean in his sight.

I have made the earth, and created man upon it. With my hands have I spread forth heaven, and given a commandment for all the Host thereof.
When thou art put out, I will cover the heaven, and make his stars dim. I will spread a cloud over the Sun, and the moon shall not give her light.
And the fourth angel blew, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of stars: so that the third part of them was darkened. And the day was smitten that the third part of it should not shine, and likewise the night.
Thou shalt be feared as long as the sun and moon endureth, from one generation to another.
And I beheld when he opened the sixth seal, and lo there was a great earthquake, and the sun was as black as sackcloth made of hair. And the moon waxed even as blood:
