O worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness; let the whole earth stand in awe of him. {TYNDALE: And bow to the LORD in holy apparel; all the earth fear him.}

Then said Jesus unto him, "Depart, Satan: For it is written, 'Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God and him only shalt thou serve.'"

And they went and served strange gods and worshipped them: gods which they knew not and which had given them nought.

For they loved the praise that is given of men, more than the praise that cometh of God.

and there ye shall serve gods which are the works of man's hand: wood and stone which neither see nor hear nor eat nor smell.
