And took of the fruit of it and ate, and gave unto her husband also with her, and he ate.

And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron, "Because ye believed me not, to sanctify me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore ye shall not bring this congregation into the land which I have given them."

"Art thou very Christ? Tell us." And he said unto them, "If I shall tell you, ye will not believe.

Thereto, his words have ye not abiding in you: For whom he hath sent, him ye believe not.

For as yet his brethren believed not in him.

The other disciples said unto him, "We have seen the Lord." And he said unto them, "Except I see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger in the holes of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe."

But the unbelieving Jews stirred up and unquieted the minds of the gentiles against the brethren.
