Take heed, brethren, that there be in none of you an evil heart, in unbelief, that he should depart from the living God:
and they if they bide not still in unbelief shall be grafted in again. For God is of power to graft them in again.
Thou sayest well: because of unbelief they are broken off, and thou standest steadfast in faith. Be not high minded, but fear:
Let us study therefore to enter into that rest; lest any man fall, after the same example, into unbelief:
And the LORD said unto Moses, "How long shall this people rail upon me, and how long will it be, yer they believe me, for all my signs which I have showed among them? I will smite them with the pestilence and destroy them, and will make of thee a greater nation and a mightier than they."

Thou wilt say then, "The branches are broken off, that I might be graft in." Thou sayest well: because of unbelief they are broken off, and thou standest steadfast in faith. Be not high minded, but fear: seeing that God spared not the natural branches, lest haply he also spare not thee.
