'Abolished' in the Bible
And this thing became the sin of the dynasty of Jeroboam that caused it to be abolished and destroyed from the face of the earth.
except that the high places were not abolished. The people continued to offer sacrifices and to burn incense on the high places.
And he abolished the idolatrous priests, whom the kings of Judah had ordained to burn incense on the high places in the cities of Judah, and the environs of Jerusalem; and them that burned incense to Baal, to the sun, and to the moon, and to the constellations, and to all the host of heaven.
He abolished the horses that the kings of Judah had dedicated to the sun at the entrance to the LORD's Temple, near the offices of Nathan-melech, the official, that were in the precincts. He also set fire to the chariots of the sun.
And the idols shall utterly pass away (be abolished).

He has done violence to His temple as if [it were] a garden [booth], destroying His place of meeting. The Lord has abolished appointed festivals and Sabbaths in Zion. He has despised king and priest in His fierce anger.
In all your dwellingplaces the cities shall be laid waste, and the high places shall be desolate; that your altars may be laid waste and made desolate, and your idols may be broken and cease, and your images may be cut down, and your works may be abolished.
But the court will convene, and his ruling authority will be removed -- destroyed and abolished forever!
From the time the daily sacrifice is abolished and the abomination of desolation is set up, there will be 1,290 days.
For we know that our old self was crucified with Him in order that sin's dominion over the body may be abolished, so that we may no longer be enslaved to sin,
