'Cannot' in the Bible
The world cannot hate you, but it hates me, because I am testifying about it, that its deeds are evil.
You will seek me and will not find [me], and where I am, you cannot come."
What is this saying that he said, 'You will seek me and will not find [me], and where I am, you cannot come'?"
So he said to them again, "I am going away, and you will seek me and will die in your sin. Where I am going you cannot come!"
Then the Jews began to say, "Perhaps he will kill himself, because he is saying, 'Where I am going you cannot come.'"
If he called them 'gods' to whom the word of God came--and the scripture cannot be broken--
Children, yet a little [time] I am with you. You will seek me and just as I said to the Jews, "Where I am going you cannot come," now I say also to you.
Simon Peter said to him, "Lord, where are you going?" Jesus replied, "Where I am going you cannot follow me now, but you will follow later."
