'Delight' in the Bible

And there came a voice from heaven:This is My beloved Son.I take delight in Him!

'Lo, My servant, whom I did choose, My beloved, in whom My soul did delight, I will put My Spirit upon him, and judgment to the nations he shall declare,

And the one on whom seed was sown among thorns, this is the one who hears the word, but the worries and distractions of the world and the deceitfulness [the superficial pleasures and delight] of riches choke the word, and it yields no fruit.

He replied to them, "You say, "Red sky at night, what a delight!

While he was still speaking, suddenly a bright cloud covered them, and a voice from the cloud said:This is My beloved Son.I take delight in Him.Listen to Him!

His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful and trustworthy over a little, I will put you in charge of many things; share in the joy of your master.’
