'Man' in the Bible

"Grieve like a virgin, who, dressed in her mourner's clothes, cries out in memory of the man she was going to marry.

They run like elite soldiers, climbing ramparts like men trained for war. Each man advances in proper order, never breaking rank.

They do not push each other;each man proceeds on his own path.They dodge the arrows, never stopping.

Get the people together, make the mass of the people holy, send for the old men, get together the children and babies at the breast: let the newly married man come out of his room and the bride from her tent.

And for My people they do cast a lot, And they give the young man for an harlot, And the young woman have sold for wine, That they may drink.

Beat your plowshares into swordsAnd your pruning hooks into spears;Let the weak say, “I am a mighty man.”
