'Offspring' in the Bible

Ah, sinful nation, a people heavy [with] iniquity, offspring of evildoers, children who deal corruptly. They have forsaken Yahweh; they have despised the holy one of Israel. They are estranged [and gone] backward.

For you have forsaken your people, house of Jacob, because they are full from [the] east, and [of] soothsayers like the Philistines, and {they make alliances} with the offspring of foreigners.

"And I will rise up against them," {declares} Yahweh of hosts, "and I will cut off name and a remnant from Babylon, and offspring and posterity," {declares} Yahweh.

And they will hang all of the heaviness of his father's house on him, the offspring and the offshoot, all of the small vessels, from the {bowls to the jars}.

Come near, nations, to hear; and peoples, listen attentively! Let the earth hear, and that which fills it; [the] world and all its offspring.

But you, Israel, my servant, Jacob, whom I have chosen, you, the {offspring} of Abraham my {friend},

Thus says the God, Yahweh, who created the heavens and stretched them out, who spread out the earth and its offspring, who gives breath to the people upon it and spirit to those who walk in it.

You must not fear, for I [am] with you. I will bring your {offspring} from [the] east, and I will gather you from [the] west.

For I will pour out water on a thirsty [land] and streams on dry ground. I will pour my spirit out on your descendants and my blessing on your offspring.

In Yahweh all the offspring of Israel shall be in the right, and they shall boast."

And your offspring would have been like the sand, and the descendants of your {body} like its grains. It would not be cut off, and its name would not be destroyed from my presence."

Yet Yahweh was pleased to crush him; he {made him sick}. If she places his life a guilt offering, he will see offspring. He will prolong days, and the will of Yahweh will succeed in his hand.

"But you, come near here, you children of a soothsayer, offspring [of] an adulterer and she [who] commits fornication.

At whom do you make fun? At whom do you {open} [your] mouth [and] {stick out} [your] tongue? [Are] you not children of transgression, offspring of deception,

And their descendants will be known among the nations, and their offspring in the midst of the peoples. All those who see them shall recognize them, that they [are] descendants [whom] Yahweh has blessed.

They shall not labor for nothing, and they shall not give birth to horror, for they {shall be offspring blessed by} Yahweh, and their descendants with them.
