'Revelation' in the Bible

What You have done so far was a little thing to You, Lord God, for You have also spoken about Your servant’s house in the distant future. And this is a revelation for mankind, Lord God.

When David got up in the morning, a revelation from the Lord had come to the prophet Gad, David’s seer:

But a revelation from God came to Shemaiah, the man of God:

A man of God came from Judah to Bethel by a revelation from the Lord while Jeroboam was standing beside the altar to burn incense.

The man of God cried out against the altar by a revelation from the Lord: “Altar, altar, this is what the Lord says, ‘A son will be born to the house of David, named Josiah, and he will sacrifice on you the priests of the high places who are burning incense on you. The revelation of Your words brings lightand gives understanding to the inexperienced.

He answered them, “The secret of the kingdom of God has been given to you, but to those outside, everything comes in parables

a light for revelation to the Gentilesand glory to Your people Israel.

Now to Him who has power to strengthen you according to my gospel and the proclamation about Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery kept silent for long ages

so that you do not lack any spiritual gift as you eagerly wait for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ.

But now, brothers, if I come to you speaking in other languages, how will I benefit you unless I speak to you with a revelation or knowledge or prophecy or teaching?

What then is the conclusion, brothers? Whenever you come together, each one has a psalm, a teaching, a revelation, another language, or an interpretation. All things must be done for edification.
