'Coming' in the Bible

I am standing here at the spring where the daughters of the men of the town are coming out to draw water.

Before he had finished speaking, there was Rebekah—daughter of Bethuel son of Milcah, the wife of Abraham’s brother Nahor—coming with a jug on her shoulder.

Seven years of great abundance are coming throughout the land of Egypt.

But I know your sitting down,your going out and your coming in,and your raging against Me.

Then the trees of the forest will shout for joy before the Lord,for He is coming to judge the earth.

They are coming from a far land,from the distant horizon—the Lord and the weapons of His wrath—to destroy the whole country.

Look, the day of the Lord is coming—cruel, with rage and burning anger—to make the earth a desolationand to destroy the sinners on it.

Sheol below is eager to greet your coming.He stirs up the spirits of the departed for you—all the rulers of the earth.He makes all the kings of the nationsrise from their thrones.

Wail, you gates! Cry out, city!Tremble with fear, all Philistia!For a cloud of dust is coming from the north,and there is no one missing from the invader’s ranks.

An oracle against Egypt:Look, the Lord rides on a swift cloudand is coming to Egypt.Egypt’s idols will tremble before Him,and Egypt’s heart will melt within it.

For look, the Lord is coming from His placeto punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity.The earth will reveal the blood shed on itand will no longer conceal her slain.

Who, like Me, can announce the future?Let him say so and make a case before Me,since I have established an ancient people.Let these gods declare the coming things,and what will take place.

This is what the Lord says:Preserve justice and do what is right,for My salvation is coming soon,and My righteousness will be revealed.

Look, the Lord has proclaimedto the ends of the earth,“Say to Daughter Zion:Look, your salvation is coming,His reward is with Him,and His gifts accompany Him.”

Who is this coming from Edomin crimson-stained garments from Bozrah—this One who is splendid in His apparel,rising up proudly in His great might?It is I, proclaiming vindication,powerful to save.

Return, you faithless children.I will heal your unfaithfulness.“Here we are, coming to You,for You are the Lord our God.

Warn the nations: Look!Proclaim to Jerusalem:Those who besiege are comingfrom a distant land;they raise their voicesagainst the cities of Judah.

“However, take note! The days are coming”—the Lord’s declaration—“when it will no longer be said, ‘As the Lord lives who brought the Israelites from the land of Egypt,’

“Therefore, take note! The days are coming”—this is the Lord’s declaration—“when this place will no longer be called Topheth and the Valley of Hinnom, but the Valley of Slaughter.

“The days are coming”—this is the Lord’s declaration—“when I will raise up a Righteous Branch of David.He will reign wisely as kingand administer justice and righteousness in the land.

“The days are coming”—the Lord’s declaration—“when it will no longer be said, ‘As the Lord lives who brought the Israelites from the land of Egypt,’

“This is what the Lord says: Stand in the courtyard of the Lord’s temple and speak all the words I have commanded you to speak to all Judah’s cities that are coming to worship there. Do not hold back a word.

Send word to the king of Edom, the king of Moab, the king of the Ammonites, the king of Tyre, and the king of Sidon through messengers who are coming to Zedekiah king of Judah in Jerusalem.
