'Scheme' in the Bible

When the Lord saw that man’s wickedness was widespread on the earth and that every scheme his mind thought of was nothing but evil all the time,

When our enemies heard that we knew their scheme and that God had frustrated it, every one of us returned to his own work on the wall.

King Ahasuerus spoke up and asked Queen Esther, “Who is this, and where is the one who would devise such a scheme?”

I tried to understand, examine, and comprehend the role of wisdom in the scheme of things, and to understand the stupidity of wickedness and the insanity of folly.

The Teacher says: I discovered this while trying to discover the scheme of things, item by item.

“Run away, flee! Dwell in the depths,O inhabitants of Hazor,” declares the Lord;“For Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon has formed a plan against youAnd devised a scheme against you.

Woe to those who scheme iniquity,Who work out evil on their beds!When morning comes, they do it,For it is in the power of their hands.

And speaking of evil, they practice it eagerly with both hands! Both leader and judge demand a bribe, the famous confess their perverted desires, and they scheme together.

And now I tell you to hold aloof from these men and leave them alone--for if this scheme or work is of human origin, it will come to nothing.

As you know, we did not come with flattering words or with a scheme to make money. God is our witness!
