'Stand' in the Bible
Therefore the wicked will not stand [unpunished] in the judgment,Nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.
Tremble [with anger or fear], and do not sin;Meditate in your heart upon your bed and be still [reflect on your sin and repent of your rebellion]. Selah.
Why do You stand far away, O Lord?Why do You hide [Yourself, veiling Your eyes] in times of trouble?
He makes my feet like hinds’ feet [able to stand firmly and tread safely on paths of testing and trouble];He sets me [securely] upon my high places.
They have bowed down and fallen,But we have risen and stood upright.
Who may ascend onto the mountain of the Lord?And who may stand in His holy place?
Let all the earth fear and worship the Lord;Let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him.
Take hold of shield and buckler (small shield),And stand up for my help.

Who will stand up for me against the evildoers?Who will take a stand for me against those who do wickedness?
Appoint a wicked man against him,And let an attacker stand at his right hand [to kill him].
For He will stand at the right hand of the needy,To save him from those who judge his soul.
They are upheld forever and ever;They are done in [absolute] truth and uprightness.
If You, Lord, should keep an account of our sins and treat us accordingly,O Lord, who could stand [before you in judgment and claim innocence]?
Behold, bless and praise the Lord, all servants of the Lord (priests, Levites),Who stand and serve by night in the house of the Lord.
You who stand in the house of the Lord,In the courts of the house of our God,
He casts out His ice like fragments;Who can stand before His cold?
