'Unjust' in the Bible
"Will you speak what is unjust for God, And speak what is deceitful for Him?
"May my enemy be as the wicked And my opponent as the unjust.
"Is it not calamity to the unjust And disaster to those who work iniquity?
Vindicate me, O God, and plead my case against an ungodly nation; O deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man!
A leader who is a great oppressor lacks understanding, But he who hates unjust gain will prolong his days.
An unjust man is abominable to the righteous, And he who is upright in the way is abominable to the wicked.
Woe to those who enact evil statutes And to those who constantly record unjust decisions,
He who walks righteously and speaks with sincerity, He who rejects unjust gain And shakes his hands so that they hold no bribe; He who stops his ears from hearing about bloodshed And shuts his eyes from looking upon evil;
And the dogs are greedy, they are not satisfied And they are shepherds who have no understanding; They have all turned to their own way, Each one to his unjust gain, to the last one.
"Because of the iniquity of his unjust gain I was angry and struck him; I hid My face and was angry, And he went on turning away, in the way of his heart.
"Arise and thresh, daughter of Zion, For your horn I will make iron And your hoofs I will make bronze, That you may pulverize many peoples, That you may devote to the LORD their unjust gain And their wealth to the Lord of all the earth.
The LORD is righteous within her; He will do no injustice Every morning He brings His justice to light; He does not fail But the unjust knows no shame.
"The Pharisee stood and was praying this to himself: 'God, I thank You that I am not like other people: swindlers, unjust, adulterers, or even like this tax collector.
For God is not unjust so as to forget your work and the love which you have shown toward His name, in having ministered and in still ministering to the saints.
