'Weight' in the Bible

For the weight of your hand was on me day and night; my body became dry like the earth in summer. (Selah.)

By the weight of your wrath against man's sin, the glory of his form is wasted away; truly every man is but a breath. (Selah.)

For unnumbered evils are round about me; my sins have overtaken me, so that I am bent down with their weight; they are more than the hairs of my head, my strength is gone because of them.

I am troubled because of the voice of the cruel ones, because of the loud cry of the evil-doers; for they put a weight of evil on me, and they are cruel in their hate for me.

Cast your burden on the Lord [release it] and He will sustain and uphold you;He will never allow the righteous to be shaken (slip, fall, fail).
