Then we who are still alive will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air and so we will always be with the Lord. Therefore encourage one another with these words.
“Do not be afraid, for you will not be put to shame;
don’t be humiliated, for you will not be disgraced.
For you will forget the shame of your youth,
and you will no longer remember
the disgrace of your widowhood.
For me, living is Christ and dying is gain.

in the presence of my enemies;
You anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.
Only goodness and faithful love will pursue me
all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the Lord
as long as I live.
A good name is better than fine perfume,
and the day of one’s death than the day of one’s birth.
He will wipe away every tear from their eyes.
Death will no longer exist;
grief, crying, and pain will exist no longer,
because the previous things have passed away.
Cast your burden on the Lord,

And don’t grieve God’s Holy Spirit. You were sealed by Him for the day of redemption.
For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is going to be revealed to us.
If I go away and prepare a place for you, I will come back and receive you to Myself, so that where I am you may be also.
