But the other answering, rebuked him, saying: Do you not fear God, since you are in the same condemnation? And we justly; for we are receiving the due reward of our deeds; but this man has done nothing wrong.
And if your brother sin against you, go and tell him of his fault between you and him alone; if he hear you, you have gained your brother.
Take heed to yourselves; if your brother sin against you, rebuke him; and if he repent, forgive him.
Brethren, if a man be overtaken in any fault, do you, who are spiritual, restore such a one in the spirit of meekness, considering yourself, lest you also be tempted.
whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:
Let the word of the Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom, by teaching and admonishing one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with gratitude in your hearts to the Lord.
Do not rebuke an elderly man, but entreat him as a father; the younger men, as brothers:
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished for every good work.
preach the word, be urgent in season and out of season, reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long-suffering and teaching.
holding fast the sure word as it is taught, that he may be able, by sound teaching, both to exhort and to convince the opposers.
Brethren, if any among you should err from the truth, and one should turn him back, let him know that he who turns back a sinner from the error of his way, will save a soul from death, and cover a multitude of sins.
and you have forgotten the exhortation which is addressed to you as to sons: My son, despise not the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when you are reproved by him.
