'Awe' in the Bible
And the Lord responded: “Look, I am making a covenant. I will perform wonders in the presence of all your people that have never been done in all the earth or in any nation. All the people you live among will see the Lord’s work, for what I am doing with you is awe-inspiring.
Then all the peoples of the earth will see that you are called by Yahweh’s name, and they will stand in awe of you.
Then the woman went and told her husband, “A man of God came to me. He looked like the awe-inspiring Angel of God. I didn’t ask Him where He came from, and He didn’t tell me His name.
All Israel heard about the judgment the king had given, and they stood in awe of the king because they saw that God’s wisdom was in him to carry out justice.

Serve the Lord with reverential aweand rejoice with trembling.
But I enter Your houseby the abundance of Your faithful love;I bow down toward Your holy templein reverential awe of You.
Let the whole earth tremble before the Lord;let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him.
in your splendor ride triumphantlyin the cause of truth, humility, and justice.May your right hand show your awe-inspiring acts.
