'Bore' in the Bible
Now Adam knew Eve his wife, and she conceived and bore Cain. And she said, "I have given birth to a man with [the help of] Yahweh."
{Then she bore} his brother Abel. And Abel became a keeper of sheep, and Cain became a tiller of the ground.
The Nephilim [were] upon the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God went into the daughters of humankind, and they bore children to them.
And Hagar had a child for Abram, a son. And Abram called the name of his son whom Hagar bore to him, Ishmael.
And Abram [was] eighty-six years old when Hagar bore Ishmael to Abram.
And she conceived, and Sarah bore to Abraham a son in his old age at the appointed time that God had told him.
And Abraham called the name of his son who was born to him, whom Sarah bore to him, Isaac.
(Now, Bethuel fathered Rebekah). These eight Milcah bore to Nahor, the brother of Abraham.
And his concubine, whose name was Reumah, also bore Tebah, Gaham, Tahash, and Maacah.
And she said to him, "I [am] the daughter of Bethuel, son of Milcah, whom she bore to Nahor."
Then I asked her and said, 'Whose daughter [are] you?' And she said, 'The daughter of Bethuel, son of Nahor, whom Milcah bore to him.' And I put the ring on her nose and the bracelets on her arms.
And she bore to him Zimran, Jokshan, Medan, Midian, Ishbak, and Shuah.
Now these [are] the generations of Ishmael, the son of Abraham, that Hagar the Egyptian, the maidservant of Sarah, bore to Abraham.
And Bilhah, Rachel's servant, conceived again and bore a second son to Jacob.
And Leah said, "God has endowed me with a good gift. This time my husband will acknowledge me, because I bore him six sons." And she called his name Zebulun.
And the flocks mated by the branches, so the flocks bore streaked, speckled, and spotted.
If thus he said, 'Speckled shall be your wage,' then all the flock bore speckled. And [if] he said, 'Streaked shall be your wage,' then all the flock bore streaked.
I brought no mangled carcass to you--I bore its loss. From my hand you sought it, whether stolen by day or stolen by night.
and Oholibamah bore Jeush and Jalam, and Korah. These [are] the sons of Esau who were born to him in the land of Canaan.
(Now Timnah was the concubine of Eliphaz, the son of Esau. And she bore Amalek to Eliphaz.) These [are] the sons of Adah, the wife of Esau.
Now these [are] the sons of Oholibamah, the daughter of Anah, daughter of Zibeon, the wife of Esau: She bore to Esau Jeush, Jalam, and Korah.
And once again she bore a son, and she called his name Shelah. And he was in Chezib when she bore him.
Before the years of famine came, Asenath, daughter of Potiphera priest of On, bore two sons to him.
Then your servant, my father, said to us, 'You yourselves know that my wife bore two sons to me.
These [are] the sons of Leah that she bore to Jacob in Paddan-Aram, and Dinah his daughter. His sons and daughters [were] thirty-three persons in all.
There [are] the sons of Zilpah, whom Laban gave to Leah his daughter, and she bore these to Jacob--sixteen persons.
And Ephraim and Manasseh, whom Asenath, daughter of Potiphera, priest of On bore to him, were born to Joseph in the land of Egypt.
These [are] the sons of Bilhah whom Laban gave to Rachel his daughter, and she bore these to Jacob--seven persons in all.
