'Glance' in the Bible
“Will You never turn Your gaze away from me [it plagues me],Nor let me alone until I swallow my spittle?
The LORD is in his holy Temple; the LORD's throne is in the heavens. His eyes see, his glance examines humanity.
A king sits on a throne of justice, sifting out all sorts of evil with his glance.
You have captured my heart, my sister, my bride.You have captured my heart with one glance of your eyes,with one jewel of your necklace.
The Devil next led Him up and caused Him to see at a glance all the kingdoms of the world.
As soon as they have shot out their leaves, you know at a glance that summer is now near.
