'Lands' in the Bible

And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.

And Jesus answered and said, Verily I say unto you, There is no man that hath left house, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my sake, and the gospel's,

But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life.

Then Mary got up and went quickly into the high lands, to a town of Judah;

And He spoke a parable to them. "A certain rich man's lands," He said, "yielded abundant crops,

They sold their lands and other property, and distributed the proceeds among all, according to every one's necessities.

Neither was there any among them that lacked: for as many as were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the prices of the things that were sold,

which also our fathers, receiving from their predecessors, brought in with Joshua when they entered into possession of the lands of the nations, whom God drove out from the face of our fathers, until the days of David;

(Now all the Athenians and the men from other lands who come there were giving all their time to talking or hearing of anything new.)

And He made from one man every nation of mankind to live on the face of the earth, having determined their appointed times and the boundaries of their lands and territories.

And in the neighbourhood of that place were lands of the principal man of the island, by name Publius, who, having received us, three days did courteously lodge us;

so that we may preach the gospel even in the lands beyond you, but not to boast in work already accomplished in another one’s field of activity.
