'Life' in the Bible

So are the ways of everyone who gains by violence;It takes away the life of its possessors.

None who go to her return again,Nor do they reach the paths of life.

For length of days and years of lifeAnd peace they will add to you.

Long life is in her right hand;In her left hand are riches and honor.

She is a tree of life to those who take hold of her,And happy are all who hold her fast.

So they will be life to your soulAnd adornment to your neck.

Hear, my son, and accept my sayingsAnd the years of your life will be many.

Take hold of instruction; do not let go.Guard her, for she is your life.

For they are life to those who find themAnd health to all their body.

Watch over your heart with all diligence,For from it flow the springs of life.

She does not ponder the path of life;Her ways are unstable, she does not know it.

“For he who finds me finds lifeAnd obtains favor from the Lord.

For by me your days will be multiplied,And years of life will be added to you.

The mouth of the righteous is a fountain of life,But the mouth of the wicked conceals violence.

The wages of the righteous is life,The income of the wicked, punishment.

He is on the path of life who heeds instruction,But he who ignores reproof goes astray.

The fear of the Lord prolongs life,But the years of the wicked will be shortened.

He who is steadfast in righteousness will attain to life,And he who pursues evil will bring about his own death.

The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life,And he who is wise wins souls.

A righteous man has regard for the life of his animal,But even the compassion of the wicked is cruel.

In the way of righteousness is life,And in its pathway there is no death.
