'Two' in the Bible

When Moses entered the tent of meeting to speak with the Lord, he heard the voice speaking to him from above the mercy seat that was on the ark of the testimony, from between the two cherubim. He spoke to him that way.

and two quarts with each of the 14 lambs.

“On the second day present 12 young bulls, two rams, and 14 male lambs a year old—all unblemished—

“On the third day present 11 bulls, two rams, 14 male lambs a year old—all unblemished—

“On the fourth day present 10 bulls, two rams, 14 male lambs a year old—all unblemished—

“On the fifth day present nine bulls, two rams, 14 male lambs a year old—all unblemished—

“On the sixth day present eight bulls, two rams, 14 male lambs a year old—all unblemished—

“On the seventh day present seven bulls, two rams, and 14 male lambs a year old—all unblemished—

The two and a half tribes have received their inheritance across the Jordan from Jericho, eastward toward the sunrise.”

“At that time we took the land from the two Amorite kings across the Jordan, from the Arnon Valley as far as Mount Hermon,
