'Whether' in the Bible

In order to accuse Him, they were watching Him closely to see whether He would heal him on the Sabbath.

Therefore be alert, since you don’t know when the master of the house is coming—whether in the evening or at midnight or at the crowing of the rooster or early in the morning.

Pilate was surprised that He was already dead. Summoning the centurion, he asked him whether He had already died.

Submit to every human authority because of the Lord, whether to the Emperor as the supreme authority
