Now ye are Christ's body, and severally members thereof.
For even as we have many members in one body, and all the members have not the same office; so we, being many, are one body in Christ, and severally members one of another.
For, as the body is one, and has many members, and all the members of the body, being many, are one body; so also is the Christ;
There is one body, and one Spirit, even as also ye were called in one hope of your calling;

Jesus answered and said to them, "Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up." The Jews, therefore, said, "In forty-six years this temple was built, and wilt Thou raise it up in three days?" But He was speaking about the temple of His body.read more.

and not holding fast the Head from Whom all the body, being supplied and knit together through the joints and bands, increases with the increase of God.
The cup of blessing which we bless, is it not a partaking of the blood of Christ? The bread which we break, is it not a partaking of the body of Christ? because we, the many, are one bread, one body; for we all partake of the one bread.
but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him, Who is the Head, Christ; from Whom all the body, fitly framed and knit together through every joint of supply, according to the working in due measure of each single part, secures the growth of the body to the upbuilding of itself in love.
that there might be no schism in the body, but that the members might have the same care, one for another. And whether one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; or one is honored, all the members rejoice with it.
Wherefore, having put away false-hood, speak ye truth each one with his neighbor, because we are members one of another.
for no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, as also Christ the assembly; because we are members of His body.
And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, unto which also ye were called in one body; and become thankful.
And, having gifts differing according to the grace that was given to us; whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of our faith; or ministry, let us labor in the ministry; or he that teaches, in teaching; or he that exhorts, in his exhortation; he that imparts, let him do it with liberality; he that presides, with diligence; he that shows mercy, with cheerfulness.

If the foot should say, "Because I am not a hand, I am not of the body"; it is not, therefore, not of the body. But God attempered the body, giving the more abundant honor to that which lacked; that there might be no schism in the body, but that the members might have the same care, one for another. And whether one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; or one is honored, all the members rejoice with it. Now ye are Christ's body, and severally members thereof. And God, indeed, set some in the assembly: first, apostles; second, prophets; third, teachers; after that, miracles; then, gifts of healings, helps, governments, various kinds of tongues. Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Are all workers of miracles? Do all have gifts of healings? Do all speak with tongues? Do all interpret? But desire earnestly the greater gifts; and a still more excellent way I show you.
And He gave some to be apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; with a view to the perfecting of the saints for the work of ministry, for the building up of the body of Christ; until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the full knowledge of the Son of God, to a full-grown man??o the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ;
