And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying: All authority in heaven and on earth is given to me.

All things are delivered to me by my Father; and no one knows who the Son is but the Father, and who the Father is but the Son, and he to whom the Son will reveal him.

The Father loves the Son, and has given all things into his hand.

as thou hast given him authority over all flesh, that he may give eternal life to all that thou hast given him.

The word which he sent to the sons of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ, (he is Lord of all,)

For he has put all things under his feet. But when the scripture says, that all things are put under him, it is evident that he is excepted, who did put all things under him.

And I further say to you, Whoever confesses me before men, him will the Son of man also confess before the angels of God. But he that denies me before men, shall be denied before the angels of God.

that if you will confess with your mouth, that Jesus is Lord, and will believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you shall be saved.

Not every one that says to me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name, and in thy name cast out demons, and in thy name done many mighty works? Therefore, whoever hears these words of mine and does them, I will liken him to a wise man, who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, and the torrents came, and the winds blew, and they beat against that house, and it fell not: for it was founded on the rock. And every one that hears these words of mine, and does them not, shall be likened to a foolish man, who built his house upon the sand. But why call me Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I command? Every one that comes to me, and hears my words, and does them, I will show you to whom he is like. He is like a man that, when building a house, digged deep, and laid the foundation on the rock. But he that hears, and does not, is like a man that built a house upon the earth, without a foundation, against which the torrent dashed with violence, and immediately it fell, and the ruin of that house was great.

Jesus said to him: I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through me.

And there is salvation in no other; nor, indeed, is there another name under heaven, given among men, by which we must be saved.

To him all the prophets bear testimony, that whoever believes on him shall receive remission of sins through his name.

and, having brought them out, he said: Sirs, what must I do to be saved? They replied: Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you and your house shall be saved.

For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,

For the Son of man will come in the glory of his Father, with his angels; and then he will reward every one according to his deeds.

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and take you with myself, that where I am, you may be also.

who also said: Men of Galilee, why stand you gazing up into heaven? This Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, shall come in the same manner in which you saw him go into heaven.

because he has appointed a day in which he will judge the world, in righteousness, by the man whom he has chosen, giving to all assurance of this, by having raised him from the dead.

for the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God; and the dead in Christ shall arise first; then we, the living who remain, shall, together with them, be caught up in clouds into the air to meet the Lord, and so shall we be ever with the Lord.

I charge you, therefore, before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom,

Behold, he comes with clouds, and every eye shall see him, and those also who pierced him: and all the tribes of the land shall lament because of him. Even so. Amen.

And behold, I come quickly: blessed is he that keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.
