And I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, saying, "To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be blessing and honor and glory and power, for ever and ever!"

Finally, brethren, pray for us that the word of the Lord may spread rapidly and be honored, just as it did also with you,

Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body.

I appeal to you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.

always carrying about in the body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body. For we who live are always being given up to death for Jesus' sake, so that the life of Jesus may be manifested in our mortal flesh.

and not only that, but he has been appointed by the churches to travel with us in this gracious work which we are carrying on, for the glory of the Lord himself and to show our good will.

When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?' And the King will answer them, 'Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brethren, you did it to me.'

Religion that is pure and undefiled in the sight of our God and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained by the world.

But we see Jesus, who for a little while was made lower than the angels, crowned with glory and honor because of the suffering of death, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone.

that all may honor the Son just as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent him.

Jesus answered, "I do not have a demon; but I honor my Father, and you dishonor me. Yet I do not seek my own glory; there is One who seeks it and he will be the judge.

If anyone serves me, he must follow me; and where I am, there my servant will be also. If anyone serves me, him my Father will honor.

There will be tribulation and distress for every human being who does evil, the Jew first and also the Greek, but glory, honor, and peace for everyone who does good, the Jew first and also the Greek. For God shows no partiality.

"Honor your father and mother" (which is the first commandment with a promise), "that it may be well with you and that you may live long on the earth."

Thus you have made the word of God of no effect for the sake of your tradition.

You know the commandments: 'Do not commit adultery, Do not murder, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Honor your father and mother.'"

Be devoted to one another in brotherly love; outdo one another in showing honor.

So receive him in the Lord with all joy; and honor men like him,

The elders who rule well are to be considered worthy of double honor, especially those who work hard at preaching and teaching.
