Now when he was in Jerusalem at the passover, on the feast day, many believed in his name, beholding the miracles which he did.

But wo to you, Pharisees; for ye tythe mint and rue and all herbs; and pass by justice and the love of God: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.

By faith he kept the passover, and the sprinkling of blood, lest he that destroyed the first born should touch them.

Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened; for our passover is slain for us, even Christ:

Therefore let us keep the feast; not with the old leaven, nor with the leaven of wickedness and malignity, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

And perceiving it pleased the Jews, he proceeded to take Peter also.

Now at the feast the governour was wont to release to the people a prisoner, whom they would.

When the evening was come, he sat down with the twelve. And as they ate he said, Verily I say to you, One of you will betray me.

And after they had eaten, Jesus took bread and blessed and brake and gave it to his disciples and said, Take, eat; this is my body. And he took the cup, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it. For this is my blood of the New Testament, which is shed for many, for the remission of sins.

And he sendeth two of his disciples, and saith to them, Go ye into the city, and there shall meet you a man carrying a pitcher of water: follow him. And he will shew you a large upper room furnished: there make ready for us. And his disciples went, and came into the city, and found as he had said to them. And they made ready the passover. And in the evening he cometh with the twelve. And as they sat and ate, Jesus said, Verily I say to you, one of you that eat with me will betray me. And they were sorry, and said to him one by one, Is it I? And another, Is it I? And he answering said to them, It is one of the twelve, that dippeth with me in the dish. The Son of man indeed goeth as it is written of him; but wo to that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed: it had been good for that man, if he had not been born. And as they ate, Jesus took bread, and blessed, and brake it, and gave to them, and said, Take, eat: this is my body. And he took the cup, and having given thanks, gave it them, and they all drank of it. And he said to them, This is my blood of the New Testament, which is shed for many. Verily I say to you, I will drink no more of the fruit of the vine, till that day that I drink it new in the kingdom of God.

Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood which is shed for you.

Then led they Jesus from Caiaphas to the governor's palace, and it was early: and they went not into the palace themselves, that they might not be defiled, but might eat the passover.

Ye know that after two days is the Passoever, and the Son of man is betrayed to be crucified.

And after two days was the feast of the passover and of unleavened bread; and the chief priests and the scribes sought how they might apprehend him by subtlety, and put him to death. But they said, Not at the feast, lest there be a tumult of the people.

And after three days, they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them and asking them questions. And all that heard him were astonished, at his understanding and answers. And seeing him they were amazed. And his mother said to him, Son, why hast thou done thus to us? Behold thy father and I have sought thee sorrowing. And he said to them, Why sought ye me? Knew ye not, that I must be about my Father's business? And they understood not the saying which he spake to them.
