For this cause I say unto you, Do not be careful about your life, what ye should eat and what ye should drink; nor for your body what ye should put on. Is not the life more than food, and the body than raiment?

Be careful about nothing; but in everything, by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;

It is vain for you to rise up early, to lie down late, to eat the bread of sorrows: so to his beloved one he giveth sleep.

And he that is sown among the thorns this is he who hears the word, and the anxious care of this life, and the deceit of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful.

But Jesus answering said to her, Martha, Martha, thou art careful and troubled about many things;

And I have led you forty years in the wilderness; your clothes are not grown old upon you, and thy sandal is not grown old upon thy foot; ye have not eaten bread, neither have ye drunk wine or strong drink, that ye might know that I am Jehovah your God.
