Hezekiah Loses Health And Regains It Through Prayer

⁴ Isaiah had not gone as far as the middle courtyard when Jehovah spoke to him: ⁵ “Return and say to Hezekiah the leader of My people, ‘Thus says the Lord, the God of your father David, “I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; behold, I will heal you. On the third day you shall go up to the house of the Lord. ⁶ I will add fifteen more years to your life. I will rescue you and defend this city from the control of the king of Assyria. I do this for my sake and for the sake of my servant David.'
