²⁹ "Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David: For he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre remaineth with us unto his day. ³⁰ Therefore seeing he was a prophet, and knew that God had sworn with an oath to him, that the fruit of his loins should sit on his seat - in that Christ should rise again in the flesh - ³¹ He saw before, and spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul should not be left in hell: neither his flesh should see corruption.
