Conversation With A Samaritan Woman

⁹ The Samaritan woman, therefore, saith unto him - How dost, thou, being, a Jew, ask to drink, of me, who am, a Samaritan woman? for, Jews, have no dealings with Samaritans. ¹⁰ Jesus answered, and said unto her - If thou hadst known the free gift of God, and who it is that is saying unto thee, Give me to drink, thou, wouldst have asked him, and he would have given thee living water. ¹¹ She saith unto him - Sir! not even a bucket, hast thou, - and, the well, is, deep: - Whence, then, hast thou the living water?
