2 Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them, When ye shall come into the land which I gave to you, the land shall rest a Sabbath to Jehovah.
2 “Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them, ‘When you come into the land which I shall give you, then the land shall have a sabbath to the Lord.
2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land which I give you, then shall the land keep a sabbath unto the LORD.
2 “Speak to the Israelites and tell them: When you enter the land I am giving you, the land will observe a Sabbath to the Lord.
2 "Tell the Israelis that when you enter the land that I'm about to give you, you are to let the land observe a Sabbath to the LORD.
3 Six years thou shalt sow thy field, and six years thou shalt prune thy vineyard, and gather its produce;
3 (A)Six years you shall sow your field, and six years you shall prune your vineyard and gather in its crop,
3 Six years thou shalt sow thy field, and six years thou shalt prune thy vineyard, and gather in the fruit thereof;
3 You may sow your field for six years, and you may prune your vineyard and gather its produce for six years.
3 For six years you may plant your fields, and for six years you may prune your vineyard and gather its produce.
4 And in the seventh year, a Sabbath of rest shall be to the land, a Sabbath to Jehovah: thy field thou shalt not sow, and thy vineyard thou. shalt not prune.
4 but during (B)the seventh year the land shall have a sabbath rest, a sabbath to the Lord; you shall not sow your field nor prune your vineyard.
4 But in the seventh year shall be a sabbath of rest unto the land, a sabbath for the LORD: thou shalt neither sow thy field, nor prune thy vineyard.
4 But there will be a Sabbath of complete rest(A) for the land in the seventh year, a Sabbath to the Lord: you are not to sow your field or prune your vineyard.
4 But the seventh year is to be a Sabbath of rest for the land a Sabbath for the LORD. You are not to plant your field or prune your vineyard.
5 The overflowing of thy harvest thou shalt not reap, and the grapes of thy separation thou shalt not gather: a year of the Sabbaths shall be to the land.
5 Your harvest’s (b)aftergrowth you shall not reap, and your grapes of untrimmed vines you shall not gather; the land shall have a sabbatical year.
5 That which groweth of its own accord of thy harvest thou shalt not reap, neither gather the grapes of thy vine undressed: for it is a year of rest unto the land.
5 You are not to reap what grows by itself from your crop, or harvest the grapes of your untended vines. It must be a year of complete rest for the land.
5 You are not to gather what grows from the spilled kernels of your crops. You are not to pick the grapes of your untrimmed vines. Let it be a year of Sabbath for the land.
6 And the Sabbath of the land shall be to you for food; to thee and to thy servant, and to thy maid, and to thy hireling, and to thine inhabitant sojourning with thee.
6 (C)All of you shall have the sabbath products of the land for food; yourself, and your male and female slaves, and your hired man and your foreign resident, those who live as aliens with you.
6 And the sabbath of the land shall be meat for you; for thee, and for thy servant, and for thy maid, and for thy hired servant, and for thy stranger that sojourneth with thee,
6 Whatever the land produces during the Sabbath year can be food for you—for yourself, your male or female slave, and the hired hand or foreigner who stays with you.
6 You may take the Sabbath produce of the land for your food you, your male and maid servants, your hired laborers, and the resident alien with you.
7 And to thy cattle, and to the beast which is in thy land shall all its produce be for food.
7 Even your cattle and the animals that are in your land shall have all its crops to eat.
7 And for thy cattle, and for the beast that are in thy land, shall all the increase thereof be meat.
7 All of its growth may serve as food for your livestock and the wild animals in your land.
7 The cattle and the wild animals in your land everything it produces are for your food.
8 And number to thee seven Sabbaths of years, seven years, seven times; and they shall be to thee the days of seven Sabbaths of years, nine and forty years.
8 ‘You are also to count off seven sabbaths of years for yourself, seven times seven years, so that you have the time of the seven sabbaths of years, namely, forty-nine years.
8 And thou shalt number seven sabbaths of years unto thee, seven times seven years; and the space of the seven sabbaths of years shall be unto thee forty and nine years.
8 “You are to count seven sabbatical years, seven times seven years, so that the time period of the seven sabbatical years amounts to 49.
8 "Count for yourselves seven years of Sabbaths seven times seven years. This set of seven weeks of years total 49 years for you.
9 And cause the trumpet of shouts of joy to pass over: in the seventh month, in the tenth of the month, in the day of expiations, shall ye cause the trumpet to pass over in all your land.
9 You shall then sound a ram’s horn abroad on (D)the tenth day of the seventh month; on the day of atonement you shall sound a horn all through your land.
9 Then shalt thou cause the trumpet of the jubile to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month, in the day of atonement shall ye make the trumpet sound throughout all your land.
9 Then you are to sound a trumpet loudly in the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month; you will sound it throughout your land on the Day of Atonement.(B)
9 Sound a horn on the tenth day of the seventh month of this fiftieth year. Likewise, on the Day of Atonement, sound the horn throughout your land.
10 And consecrate the year, the fiftieth year, and call a letting go free in the land, to all inhabiting it: it shall be a jubilee to you; and return ye each to his possession, and each to his family shall ye turn back.
10 You shall thus consecrate the fiftieth year and (E)proclaim (c)a release through the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a jubilee for you, (d)and (F)each of you shall return to his own property, (e)and each of you shall return to his family.
10 And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubile unto you; and ye shall return every man unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family.
10 You are to consecrate the fiftieth year and proclaim freedom in the land for all its inhabitants. It will be your Jubilee,(C) when each of you is to return to his property and each of you to his clan.
10 Set aside and consecrate the fiftieth year to declare liberty throughout the land for all of its inhabitants. It is to be a jubilee for you. Every person is to return to his own land that he has inherited. Likewise, every person is to return to his tribe.
11 It a jubilee the year, the fiftieth year shall be to you: ye shall not sow and ye shall not reap its overflowings, and ye shall not gather its separations.
11 You shall have the fiftieth year as a jubilee; you shall not sow, nor reap its aftergrowth, nor gather in from its untrimmed vines.
11 A jubile shall that fiftieth year be unto you: ye shall not sow, neither reap that which groweth of itself in it, nor gather the grapes in it of thy vine undressed.
11 The fiftieth year will be your Jubilee; you are not to sow, reap what grows by itself, or harvest its untended vines.

12 For it a jubilee; holy shall it be to you: from the field ye shall eat its produce.

13 “In this Year of Jubilee, each of you will return to his property.
13 "During this year of jubilee, each person is to return to his own land that he has inherited.
14 And when ye shall sell a selling to thy neighbor, or buying of thy neighbor's hand, ye shall not oppress each his brother.
14 If you make a sale, moreover, to your friend or buy from your friend’s hand, (H)you shall not wrong one another.
14 And if thou sell ought unto thy neighbour, or buyest ought of thy neighbour's hand, ye shall not oppress one another:
14 So if you had sold property to a neighbor or had acquired land from your neighbor, you are not to cheat one another.
15 According to the number of years after the jubilee, thou shalt buy from thy neighbor; according to the number of the years' produce shall he sell to thee.
15 Corresponding to the number of years after the jubilee, you shall buy from your (f)friend; he is to sell to you according to the number of years of crops.
15 According to the number of years after the jubile thou shalt buy of thy neighbour, and according unto the number of years of the fruits he shall sell unto thee:
15 You are to make the purchase from your neighbor based on the number of years since the last Jubilee. He is to sell to you based on the number of remaining harvest years.
15 According to the number of years after the jubilee, you may buy from your neighbor. And according to the number of years with crops, he may sell to you.
16 According to the multitude of years thou shalt increase his purchase, and according to the fewness of years thou shalt diminish his purchase: for from the numbering of the produce, he sold to thee.
16 (I)In proportion to the (g)extent of the years you shall increase its price, and in proportion to the fewness of the years you shall diminish its price, for it is a number of crops he is selling to you.
16 According to the multitude of years thou shalt increase the price thereof, and according to the fewness of years thou shalt diminish the price of it: for according to the number of the years of the fruits doth he sell unto thee.
16 You are to increase its price in proportion to a greater amount of years, and decrease its price in proportion to a lesser amount of years, because what he is selling to you is a number of harvests.
16 If the number of years after the jubilee is more, increase the selling price. If the number of years after the jubilee is few, decrease its selling price, because he's selling to you according to the potential production volume of the land.
17 And ye shall not oppress each his neighbor; and thou shalt fear thy God: for I Jehovah your God.
17 So (J)you shall not wrong one another, but you shall (h)fear your God; for I am the Lord your God.
17 Ye shall not therefore oppress one another; but thou shalt fear thy God: for I am the LORD your God.
17 You are not to cheat one another, but fear your God, for I am Yahweh your God.
17 No one is to cheat his neighbor. Instead, you are to fear your God, because I am the LORD your God.
18 And ye did my laws and watched my judgments and did them, and dwelt upon the land in confidence.
18 ‘You shall thus observe My statutes and keep My judgments, so as to carry them out, that (K)you may live securely on the land.
18 Wherefore ye shall do my statutes, and keep my judgments, and do them; and ye shall dwell in the land in safety.
18 “You are to keep My statutes and ordinances and carefully observe them, so that you may live securely in the land.(E)
18 "Observe my statutes and keep my ordinances. Do them so that you may live securely in the land.
19 And the land gave her fruits, and ye ate to satisfying, and ye dwelt in confidence upon it
19 Then the land will yield its produce, so that you can eat your fill and live securely on it.
19 And the land shall yield her fruit, and ye shall eat your fill, and dwell therein in safety.
19 Then the land will yield its fruit, so that you can eat, be satisfied, and live securely in the land.
19 Then the land will yield its fruit and you'll eat to your satisfaction and live securely.
20 And when ye shall say, What shall we eat in the seventh year? behold, we shall not sow and we shall not gather our produce.
20 But if you say, “(L)What are we going to eat on the seventh year (i)if we do not sow or gather in our crops?”
20 And if ye shall say, What shall we eat the seventh year? behold, we shall not sow, nor gather in our increase:
20 If you wonder: ‘What will we eat in the seventh year if we don’t sow or gather our produce?’
20 "Now if you ask, "What will we eat during the seventh year? After all, we may not plant or even gather our produce!'
21 And I commanded my blessing to you in the sixth year, and it made the produce for three years.
21 then (M)I will so order My blessing for you in the sixth year that it will bring forth the crop for three years.
21 Then I will command my blessing upon you in the sixth year, and it shall bring forth fruit for three years.
21 I will appoint My blessing for you in the sixth year, so that it will produce a crop sufficient for three years.
21 I'll command my blessing on you during the sixth year so that it will yield produce for three years!
22 And ye sowed the eighth year, and ate from the old produce till the ninth year; till its produce came in ye shall eat the old.
22 When you are sowing the eighth year, you can still eat (N)old things from the crop, eating the old until the ninth year when its crop comes in.
22 And ye shall sow the eighth year, and eat yet of old fruit until the ninth year; until her fruits come in ye shall eat of the old store.
22 When you sow in the eighth year, you will be eating from the previous harvest. You will be eating this until the ninth year when its harvest comes in.
22 That way, you are to sow in the eighth year, eating the produce from the old harvest. Until the ninth year when its produce comes in, you'll eat from the old harvest."
23 And the land shall not be sold to be cut off, for the land is to me; for ye are strangers and sojourners with me.
23 ‘The land, moreover, shall not be sold permanently, for (O)the land is Mine; for (P)you are but aliens and sojourners with Me.
23 The land shall not be sold for ever: for the land is mine; for ye are strangers and sojourners with me.
23 “The land is not to be permanently sold because it is Mine, and you are only foreigners and temporary residents on My land.(a)(F)
23 "The land is not to be sold with any finality, because the land belongs to me. You're sojourners and travelers with me.
24 And in all the land of your possession ye shall give a redemption to the land.
24 And in all the land of your possession ye shall grant a redemption for the land.
24 You are to allow the redemption of any land you occupy.
24 So throughout all of your land inheritance, grant the right of redemption for the land.
25 When thy brother shall be poor, and he sold his possession, and he being near to him came to redeem it, and he redeemed the selling of his brother.
25 ‘(Q)If a (k)fellow countryman of yours becomes so poor he has to sell part of his property, then his nearest kinsman is to come and buy back what his (l)relative has sold.
25 If thy brother be waxen poor, and hath sold away some of his possession, and if any of his kin come to redeem it, then shall he redeem that which his brother sold.
25 If your brother becomes destitute and sells part of his property, his nearest relative may come and redeem what his brother has sold.
25 "If your brother becomes so poor that he has to a sell portion of his inheritance, then his nearest kinsman redeemer is to come and redeem what his brother has sold.
26 And when to a man there shall be none to him to redeem, and his hand attained and found a sufficiency to redeem it;
26 Or in case a man has no kinsman, but so (m)recovers his means as to find sufficient for its redemption,
26 And if the man have none to redeem it, and himself be able to redeem it;
26 If a person doesn't have a kinsman redeemer, but has become rich and found sufficient means for his redemption,
27 And he reckoned the years of his selling, and he returned that remaining over to the man to whom he sold it, and turned back to his possession.
27 (R)then he shall calculate the years since its sale and refund the balance to the man to whom he sold it, and so return to his property.
27 Then let him count the years of the sale thereof, and restore the overplus unto the man to whom he sold it; that he may return unto his possession.
27 he may calculate the years since its sale, repay the balance to the man he sold it to, and return to his property.
27 then let him account for the years for which it was sold, return the excess to the person to whom it was sold, and then return to his property.
28 And if his hand found not a sufficiency to return to him, and his selling was in the hand of him buying it, till the year of the jubilee: and it went forth in the jubilee, and he turned back to his possession.
28 But if (n)he has not found sufficient means to get it back for himself, then what he has sold shall remain in the hands of its purchaser until the year of jubilee; but at the jubilee it shall (o)revert, that (S)he may return to his property.
28 But if he be not able to restore it to him, then that which is sold shall remain in the hand of him that hath bought it until the year of jubile: and in the jubile it shall go out, and he shall return unto his possession.
28 But if he cannot obtain enough to repay him, what he sold will remain in the possession of its purchaser until the Year of Jubilee. It is to be released at the Jubilee, so that he may return to his property.
28 If he's not able to redeem it back for himself, then what he sold is to remain in the hand of the buyer until the year of jubilee. In the jubilee, it is to be returned so he may return to his property.
29 And when a man shall sell the house of dwelling in a walled city, its redemption of it shall be till it was completed: a year of days from its selling shall be its redemption.
29 ‘Likewise, if a man sells a dwelling house in a walled city, then his redemption right remains valid until a full year from its sale; his right of redemption lasts a full year.
29 And if a man sell a dwelling house in a walled city, then he may redeem it within a whole year after it is sold; within a full year may he redeem it.
29 “If a man sells a residence in a walled city, his right of redemption will last until a year has passed after its sale; his right of redemption will last a year.
29 "If a person sells a residential house in a walled city, he is to redeem it within the year in which it was sold. He may have right to its redemption for a full year.
30 And if it was not redeemed till the filling up of a complete year, and the house which is in the city, which, if walled, was set forever to him buying it for his generation: it shall not go forth in the jubilee.
30 But if it is not bought back for him within the space of a full year, then the house that is in the walled city passes permanently to its purchaser throughout his generations; it does not (p)revert in the jubilee.
30 And if it be not redeemed within the space of a full year, then the house that is in the walled city shall be established for ever to him that bought it throughout his generations: it shall not go out in the jubile.
30 If it is not redeemed by the end of a full year, then the house in the walled city is permanently transferred to its purchaser throughout his generations. It is not to be released on the Jubilee.
30 But if it's not redeemed by the end of a full year, then the house next to which is a wall is to belong in perpetuity to the one who bought it throughout his generations. It is not to be returned in the jubilee.
31 And the houses of the villages which to them not being walled round about, shall be reckoned for a field of the land: redemption shall be to it, and it shall go forth in the jubilee.
31 The houses of the villages, however, which have no surrounding wall shall be considered (q)as open fields; they have redemption rights and (r)revert in the jubilee.
31 But the houses of the villages which have no wall round about them shall be counted as the fields of the country: they may be redeemed, and they shall go out in the jubile.
31 But houses in villages that have no walls around them are to be classified as open fields. The right to redeem such houses stays in effect, and they are to be released at the Jubilee.
31 However, the houses in the villages that don't have walls around them are to be categorized along with the fields of the land they may be redeemed and returned in the jubilee.
32 And the cities of the Levites, the houses of the cities of their possession, redemption shall be always to the Levites.
32 As for (T)cities of the Levites, the Levites have a permanent right of redemption for the houses of the cities which are their possession.
32 Notwithstanding the cities of the Levites, and the houses of the cities of their possession, may the Levites redeem at any time.
32 “Concerning the Levitical cities,(G) the Levites always have the right to redeem houses in the cities they possess.
32 Nevertheless, the cities that belong to the descendants of Levi that is, the houses in the cities that belong to them are to belong to the descendants of Levi perpetually as part of their right of redemption.
33 And whoever shall redeem from the Levites, and the selling of the house and the city of his possession went out in the jubilee; for the houses of the cities of the Levites, this their possession in the midst of the sons of IsraeL
33 What, therefore, (s)belongs to the Levites may be redeemed and a house sale (t)in the city of this possession (u)reverts in the jubilee, for the houses of the cities of the Levites are their possession among the sons of Israel.
33 And if a man purchase of the Levites, then the house that was sold, and the city of his possession, shall go out in the year of jubile: for the houses of the cities of the Levites are their possession among the children of Israel.
33 Whatever property one of the Levites can redeem(c)—a house sold in a city they possess—must be released at the Jubilee, because the houses in the Levitical cities are their possession among the Israelites.
33 If someone from the descendants of Levi redeems the houses in the cities that they own, they are to be returned in the jubilee, because the houses of the cities of the descendants of Levi are to remain their property among the Israelis.
34 And the field of the area of their cities shall not be sold, for it is a possession to them forever.
34 But the field of the suburbs of their cities may not be sold; for it is their perpetual possession.
34 The open pastureland around their cities may not be sold, for it is their permanent possession.
34 Also, the open land of their cities is not to be sold, because it is to remain their perpetual inheritance."
35 And when thy brother shall be poor, and his hand wavering with thee, hold fast to him; a stranger and sojourner to live with thee.
35 ‘(V)Now in case a (v)countryman of yours becomes poor and his (w)means with regard to you falter, then you are to sustain him, like a stranger or a sojourner, that he may live with you.
35 And if thy brother be waxen poor, and fallen in decay with thee; then thou shalt relieve him: yea, though he be a stranger, or a sojourner; that he may live with thee.
35 “If your brother becomes destitute and cannot sustain himself among(d) you, you are to support him as a foreigner or temporary resident, so that he can continue to live among you.
35 "If your relative becomes so poor that he is indebted to you, then you are to support him. You are to let him live with you just like the resident alien and the traveler.
36 Thou shalt not take from him interest and increase; thou shalt be afraid of thy God; and thy brother to live with thee.
36 (W)Do not take (x)usurious interest from him, but revere your God, that your (y)countryman may live with you.
36 Take thou no usury of him, or increase: but fear thy God; that thy brother may live with thee.
36 Do not profit or take interest from him,(H) but fear your God and let your brother live among you.
36 You are not to take interest or profit from him. Instead, you are to fear your God and let your relative live with you.
37 Thy silver thou shalt not give to him upon interest, and upon increase thou. shalt not give him thy food.
37 You shall not give him your silver at interest, nor your food for gain.
37 Thou shalt not give him thy money upon usury, nor lend him thy victuals for increase.
37 You are not to lend him your silver with interest or sell him your food for profit.
37 You are not to loan him money with interest or sell him your food at a profit.
38 I am Jehovah your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt, to give to you the land of Canaan, to be to you for God.
38 (X)I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt to give you the land of Canaan and (Y)to be your God.
38 I am the LORD your God, which brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, to give you the land of Canaan, and to be your God.

39 ‘(Z)If a (z)countryman of yours becomes so poor with regard to you that he sells himself to you, you shall not subject him to a slave’s service.
39 And if thy brother that dwelleth by thee be waxen poor, and be sold unto thee; thou shalt not compel him to serve as a bondservant:
39 “If your brother among you becomes destitute and sells himself to you,(I) you must not force him to do slave labor.
39 "If your brother with you becomes so poor that he sells himself to you, you are not to make him serve like a bond slave.
40 As the hireling, as the sojourner, he shall be with thee; till the year of jubilee he shall serve with thee;
40 He shall be with you as a hired man, as (AA)if he were a sojourner; he shall serve with you until the year of jubilee.
40 But as an hired servant, and as a sojourner, he shall be with thee, and shall serve thee unto the year of jubile:
40 Let him stay with you as a hired hand or temporary resident; he may work for you until the Year of Jubilee.
40 Instead, he is to serve with you like a hired servant or a traveler who lives with you, until the year of jubilee.
41 And he shall go forth from thee, he and his sons with him, and turn back to his family, to the possession of his fathers shall he turn back.
41 He shall then go out from you, he and his sons with him, and shall go back to his family, that he may return to the property of his forefathers.
41 And then shall he depart from thee, both he and his children with him, and shall return unto his own family, and unto the possession of his fathers shall he return.
41 Then he and his children are to be released from you, and he may return to his clan and his ancestral property.(J)

42 For they are my servants whom I brought them out of the land of Egypt; they shall not be sold from the sale of a servant
42 For they are My servants whom I brought out from the land of Egypt; they are not to be sold in a slave sale.
42 For they are my servants, which I brought forth out of the land of Egypt: they shall not be sold as bondmen.
42 They are not to be sold as slaves,(e) because they are My slaves that I brought out of the land of Egypt.
42 Since they're my servants whom I've brought out of the land of Egypt, they are not to be sold as slaves.
44 And thy servant and thy maid which shall be to thee, from the nations which are round about you, from them ye shall buy servant and maid.
44 As for your male and female slaves whom you may have—you may acquire male and female slaves from the pagan nations that are around you.
44 Both thy bondmen, and thy bondmaids, which thou shalt have, shall be of the heathen that are round about you; of them shall ye buy bondmen and bondmaids.
44 Your male and female slaves are to be from the nations around you; you may purchase male and female slaves.
44 "As for your male and maid slaves who will be with you, you may buy male and female slaves from among the nations.
45 And from the sons of the sojourner sojourning with you, from them shall ye buy, and from their families which are with you, which were born in your land: and they were to you for a possession.
45 Then, too, it is out of the sons of the sojourners who live as aliens among you that you may gain acquisition, and out of their families who are with you, whom they will have (aa)produced in your land; they also may become your possession.
45 Moreover of the children of the strangers that do sojourn among you, of them shall ye buy, and of their families that are with you, which they begat in your land: and they shall be your possession.
45 You may also purchase them from the foreigners staying with you, or from their families living among you—those born in your land. These may become your property.
45 You may also buy from resident aliens who live among you and their families who are with you, whom they fathered in your land. They may become your property.
46 And ye shall possess them for your sons after you to take possession forever; ye shall serve with them: and over your brethren the sons of Israel, ye shall not rule over him, each over his brother with oppression.
46 You may even bequeath them to your sons after you, to receive as a possession; you can use them as permanent slaves. (AC)But in respect to your (ab)countrymen, the sons of Israel, you shall not rule with severity over one another.
46 And ye shall take them as an inheritance for your children after you, to inherit them for a possession; they shall be your bondmen for ever: but over your brethren the children of Israel, ye shall not rule one over another with rigour.
46 You may leave them to your sons after you to inherit as property; you can make them slaves for life. But concerning your brothers, the Israelites, you must not rule over one another harshly.
46 You may give them as inherited property to your children after you, to own as properties in perpetuity. You may make bond slaves of them, but no one is to rule over his fellow Israeli with harshness.
47 And if the hand of a stranger and sojourner with thee shall attain, and thy brother with him be poor, and he sold to the stranger, a sojourner with thee, or to the root of the stranger's family:
47 ‘Now if the (ac)means of a stranger or of a sojourner with you becomes sufficient, and a (ad)countryman of yours becomes so poor with regard to him as to sell himself to a stranger who is sojourning with you, or to the descendants of a stranger’s family,
47 And if a sojourner or stranger wax rich by thee, and thy brother that dwelleth by him wax poor, and sell himself unto the stranger or sojourner by thee, or to the stock of the stranger's family:
47 “If a foreigner or temporary resident living among you prospers, but your brother living near him becomes destitute and sells himself to the foreigner living among you, or to a member of the foreigner’s clan,
47 "If a resident alien or traveler becomes rich, but your relative who lives next to him is so poor that he sells himself to that resident alien or traveler among you or to a member of the resident alien's family,
48 After the selling, redemption shall be to him; one from his brethren shall redeem him:
48 then he shall have redemption right after he has been sold. One of his brothers may redeem him,
48 After that he is sold he may be redeemed again; one of his brethren may redeem him:
48 he has the right of redemption after he has been sold. One of his brothers may redeem him.
48 he has the right to be redeemed after he sells himself. One of his brothers may redeem him.
49 Or his uncle, or his uncle's son shall redeem him, or from the remainder of his flesh from his family, shall redeem him; or his hand attained, and he redeemed himself.
49 or his uncle, or his uncle’s son, may redeem him, or one of his blood relatives from his family may redeem him; or (ae)(AD)if he prospers, he may redeem himself.
49 Either his uncle, or his uncle's son, may redeem him, or any that is nigh of kin unto him of his family may redeem him; or if he be able, he may redeem himself.
49 His uncle or cousin may redeem him, or any of his close relatives from his clan may redeem him. If he prospers, he may redeem himself.
49 His uncle or his uncle's son may redeem him or any blood relative from his tribe may redeem him. If he becomes rich, then he may redeem himself.
50 And he reckoned with him buying him, from the year of his being sold to him till the year of the jubilee: and the silver of his selling was according to the number of years, as the days of a hireling, shall it be with him.
50 He then with his purchaser shall calculate from the year when he sold himself to him up to the year of jubilee; and the price of his sale shall correspond to the number of years. It is like the days of a hired man that he shall be with him.
50 And he shall reckon with him that bought him from the year that he was sold to him unto the year of jubile: and the price of his sale shall be according unto the number of years, according to the time of an hired servant shall it be with him.
50 The one who purchased him is to calculate the time from the year he sold himself to him until the Year of Jubilee. The price of his sale will be determined by the number of years. It will be set for him like the daily wages of a hired hand.
50 "He is to bring an accounting to the one who bought him, starting from the year he had sold himself until the year of jubilee. The price of his sale is to correspond to the number of years comparable to the time a hired servant stays with him.
51 If yet a multitude of years, according to them he shall return his redemption from the silver of his sale.
51 If there are still many years, (AE)he shall refund part of his purchase price in proportion to them for his own redemption;
51 If there be yet many years behind, according unto them he shall give again the price of his redemption out of the money that he was bought for.
51 If many years are still left, he must pay his redemption price in proportion to them based on his purchase price.
51 If there are still many years left, he is to refund the cost of his redemption.
52 And if a fewness remained to the years till the year of jubilee; and he reckoned to him according to his years, he shall return his redemption.
52 and if few years remain until the year of jubilee, he shall so calculate with him. In proportion to his years he is to refund the amount for his redemption.
52 And if there remain but few years unto the year of jubile, then he shall count with him, and according unto his years shall he give him again the price of his redemption.
52 If only a few years remain until the Year of Jubilee, he will calculate and pay the price of his redemption in proportion to his remaining years.
52 But if only a few years are left until the year of jubilee, he is to bring an accounting of the years that he is to refund for his redemption.
53 As the hireling of the year by the year shall he be with him: he shall not rule him by crushing to thine eyes.
53 Like a man hired year by year he shall be with him; (AF)he shall not rule over him with severity in your sight.
53 And as a yearly hired servant shall he be with him: and the other shall not rule with rigour over him in thy sight.
53 He will stay with him like a man hired year by year. A foreign owner is not to rule over him harshly in your sight.
53 Like a hired servant, he is to remain with him year after year, but he is not to rule over him with what you see as severity.
54 And if he shall not be redeemed in these, and he shall go forth in the year of the jubilee, he and his sons with him.
54 Even if he is not redeemed by (af)these means, (AG)he shall still go out in the year of jubilee, he and his sons with him.
54 And if he be not redeemed in these years, then he shall go out in the year of jubile, both he, and his children with him.
54 If he is not redeemed in any of these ways, he and his children are to be released at the Year of Jubilee.
54 If he isn't redeemed by these, then he is to be set free in the year of jubilee he and his children with him
55 For to me the sons of Israel are servants; they are my servants which I brought them forth out of the land of Egypt: I Jehovah your God.
55 For the sons of Israel are My servants; they are My servants whom I brought out from the land of Egypt. I am the Lord your God.
55 For unto me the children of Israel are servants; they are my servants whom I brought forth out of the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God.
55 For the Israelites are My slaves.(L) They are My slaves that I brought out of the land of Egypt; I am Yahweh your God.
55 because the Israelis are my servants. They're my servants, since I brought them out of the land of Egypt. I am the LORD your God."
