And there followed him great multitudes from Galilee, and Decapolis, and Jerusalem, and Judaea, and beyond Jordan.

And it came to pass, on one of the days, that He was teaching; and there were sitting by Pharisees and teachers of the law, who had come out of every village of Galilee, and Judea, and Jerusalem; and the power of the Lord was present with Him to heal.

This man, having heard that Jesus had come out of Judaea into Galilee, went to Him, and was asking Him, that He would come down, and heal his son, for he was about to die.

This again is a second sign that Jesus did, after having come out of Judaea into Galilee.


And it came to pass that, when Jesus finished these words, He departed from Galilee, and came into the borders of Judaea, beyond the Jordan.

But they were the more urgent, saying, "He stirreth up the people, teaching throughout the whole of Judaea, and beginning from Galilee even to this place."

And, rising up thence, He cometh into the borders of Judaea, and beyond the Jordan. And multitudes come together to Him again; and, as He was wont, He was teaching them again.


Now in those days comes John, the Immerser, preaching in the wilderness of Judaea,

and he came into all the region of the Jordan, preaching the immersion of repentance unto remission of sins;







There was in the days of Herod, king of Judaea, a certain priest, Zacharias by name, of the course of Abija; and he had a wife of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elizabeth.
