'From Generation to Generation' in the Bible

He said, “Indeed, my hand is lifted up toward the Lord’s throne. The Lord will be at war with Amalek from generation to generation.”

He says to himself, “I will never be moved—from generation to generation without calamity.”

The counsel of the Lord stands forever,the plans of His heart from generation to generation.

Their graves are their eternal homes,their homes from generation to generation,though they have named estates after themselves.

It will never be inhabitedor lived in from generation to generation;a nomad will not pitch his tent there,and shepherds will not let their flocks rest there.

It will never go out—day or night.Its smoke will go up forever.It will be desolate, from generation to generation;no one will pass through it forever and ever.

He has ordained a lot for them;His hand allotted their portion with a measuring line.They will possess it forever;they will dwell in it from generation to generation.

You, Lord, are enthroned forever;Your throne endures from generation to generation.

How great are His miracles,and how mighty His wonders!His kingdom is an eternal kingdom,and His dominion is from generation to generation.

But at the end of those days, I, Nebuchadnezzar, looked up to heaven, and my sanity returned to me. Then I praised the Most High and honored and glorified Him who lives forever:For His dominion is an everlasting dominion,and His kingdom is from generation to generation.

But Judah will be inhabited forever,and Jerusalem from generation to generation.
