'Refrain From' in the Bible

If you see the donkey of one who hates you lying helpless under its load, you shall not leave the man to deal with it [alone]; you must help him release the animal [from its burden].

But if you refrain from making a vow, that would not be [counted as] sin in you.

would you wait until they were grown? Would you go without marrying? No, my daughters; for it is much more difficult for me than for you, because the Lord’s hand has gone against me.”

But Neco sent messengers to Josiah, saying, “What business do we have with each other, O King of Judah? Or is it only Barnabas and I who have no right to stop doing manual labor [in order to support our ministry]?
