'To This Day' in the Bible

And the first-born bore a son, and called his name Moab: the same is the father of the Moabites to this day.

And the younger, she also bore a son, and called his name Ben-ammi: the same is the father of the children of Ammon to this day.

And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovah-jireh: as it is said to this day, In the mount of the LORD it will be seen.

And he called it Shebah: therefore the name of the city is Beer-sheba to this day.

Therefore the children of Israel eat not of the sinew which shrunk, which is upon the hollow of the thigh, to this day; because he touched the hollow of Jacob's thigh in the sinew that shrunk.

And Jacob set a pillar on her grave: that is the pillar of Rachel's grave to this day.

And Joseph made it a law over the land of Egypt to this day, that Pharaoh should have the fifth part; except the land of the priests only, which became not Pharaoh's.

And he blessed Joseph, and said, God, before whom my fathers Abraham and Isaac did walk, the God who hath fed me all my life long to this day,

And they broke down the image of Baal, and broke down the house of Baal, and made it a draught-house to this day.

He slew of Edom in the valley of Salt ten thousand, and took Selah by war, and called the name of it Joktheel to this day.

At that time Rezin king of Syria recovered Elath to Syria, and drove the Jews from Elath: and the Syrians came to Elath, and have dwelt there to this day.

Until the LORD removed Israel out of his sight, as he had said by all his servants the prophets. So was Israel carried away out of their own land to Assyria to this day.

(According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) to this day.

Being defamed, we entreat: we are made as the filth of the world, the offscouring of all things to this day.

But even to this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart.
