And Jacob set up a pillar upon her grave, which is called Rachel's grave pillar unto this day.

Then Jacob went unto Isaac his father to Mamre, a principal city, otherwise called Hebron: where Abraham and Isaac sojourned as strangers.

These are the generations of Esau, which is called Edom.

Thus dwelt Esau in mount Seir, which Esau is called Edom.

These are the children of Esau, and these are the dukes of them: which Esau is called Edom.

And the children of Lotan were Hori and Heman. And Lotan's sister was called Timna.

And it fortuned at that time that Judah went from his brethren and gat him to a man called Hirah of Adullam,

and there he saw the daughter of a man called Shua, a Canaanite. And he took her and went in unto her.

And she conceived and bore a son; and he called his name Er.

And she again conceived and bore a son, and she called his name Onan.

And again she bore a son, and she called his name Shelah; and he was at Chezib when she bore him.

And it came to pass as he drew back his hand, that behold, his brother came out; and she said, How hast thou broken forth! on thee be the breach! And they called his name Pherez.

And afterwards came out his brother, round whose hand was the scarlet thread; and they called his name Zerah.

He had Joseph ride in his second chariot, and servants called out before him, “Abrek!” So he placed him over all the land of Egypt.

And Pharaoh called Joseph's name Zaphnath-paaneah, and gave him as wife Asnath the daughter of Potipherah the priest in On. And Joseph went out over the land of Egypt.

And Joseph called the name of the firstborn Manasseh For God has made me forget all my toil, and all my father's house.

And the name of the second he called Ephraim For God has caused me to be fruitful in the land of my affliction.

Then Joseph could not control himself [any longer] in front of all those who attended him, and he called out, “Have everyone leave me.” So no man stood there when Joseph revealed himself to his brothers.

And God said unto Israel in a vision by night, and called unto him, "Jacob, Jacob." And he answered, "Here am I."

When {the time of Israel's death drew near}, he called to his son, to Joseph. And he said to him, "If I have found favor in your eyes, please put your hand under my thigh, that you might [vow] to deal kindly and faithfully with me. Please do not bury me in Egypt,

And your children whom you father after them shall be yours. By the name of their brothers they shall be called, with respect to their inheritance.

And after I came from Mesopotamia, Rachel died upon my hand in the land of Canaan, by the way: when I had but a field's breadth to go unto Ephrata. And I buried her there in the way to Ephrata which is now called Bethlehem."

The Messenger - who hath been my redeemer from all evil - bless the lads! And may there be called upon them, my name, and the name of my fathers. Abraham and Isaac; And may they swarm into a multitude, in the midst of the earth!

Then Jacob called his sons and said, "Gather together so that I can tell you what will happen with you in {days to come}.

And when the Canaanites, the inhabitants of the land, saw the mourning ceremony at the threshing floor of Atad they said, "This [is] a severe mourning for the Egyptians." Therefore its name was called Abel-Mizraim, which [is] beyond the Jordan.
