This is the record of the family line of Adam. When God created humankind, he made them in the likeness of God.

If from a line and to a shoe-string and if I shall take from all which is to thee, and thou shalt not say I enriched Abram:

For I have made him mine so that he may give orders to his children and those of his line after him, to keep the ways of the Lord, to do what is good and right: so that the Lord may do to Abraham as he has said.

Come, let’s get our father to drink wine so that we can sleep with him and preserve our father’s line.”

The next day the firstborn said to the younger, “Look, I slept with my father last night. Let’s get him to drink wine again tonight so you can go sleep with him and we can preserve our father’s line.”

So Jacob rose early in the morning, and took the stone which he halt lint for his pillow, and put it for a pillar, - and poured out oil upon the top thereof;

and all of a sudden seven healthy, plump, beautiful cows emerged from the Nile and began to graze among the reeds that line the bank.
