A Psalm of Asaph. God stands in the congregation of the mighty; in the midst of the gods He judges.

I have said, You are gods; and all of you sons of the Most High.

Among the gods there is none like You, O Lord; none are like Your works.

For Jehovah is a great God, and a great King above all gods.

For Jehovah is great, and greatly to be praised; He is to be feared above all gods.

For all the gods of the nations are idols; but Jehovah made the heavens.

All those who serve graven images are ashamed, those who boast themselves in idols; all gods bow down before Him.

For You, Jehovah, are high above all the earth; You are lifted on high far above all gods.

For I know that Jehovah is great, and our LORD is above all gods.

Oh give thanks to the God of gods; for His mercy endures forever.
