Therefore I will bring the worst of the nations, and they shall possess their houses: I will also make the pomp of the strong to cease; and their holy places shall be defiled.

Therefore say unto them, Thus says the Lord GOD; You eat with the blood, and lift up your eyes toward your idols, and shed blood: and shall you possess the land?

You stand upon your sword, you work abomination, and you defile every one his neighbor's wife: and shall you possess the land?

Because you have said, These two nations and these two countries shall be mine, and we will possess them; although the LORD was there:

Yea, I will cause men to walk upon you, even my people Israel; and they shall possess you, and you shall be their inheritance, and you shall no more bereave them of children.
