Then Daniel, whose name was Balteshazzar, held his peace by the space of a hour and his thoughts troubled him. So the king spake, and said, "O Balteshazzar, let neither the dream nor the interpretation thereof fear thee." Balteshazzar answered saying, "O my lord, this dream happen to thine enemies, and the interpretation to thine adversaries!

And he said, "Look, I am making known to you what will happen in the period of wrath, for [it refers] to [the] appointed time of [the] end.

"Pay attention! I'm going to brief you about what will happen at the end of the period of wrath, because its end is appointed. The ram that you saw with a pair of horns are the kings of Media and Persia.

and I have come to cause thee to understand that which doth happen to thy people in the latter end of the days, for yet the vision is after days.

At the time appointed he shall come again, and go toward the south: So shall it happen otherwise then at the first, yet once again.

I heard, but I did not understand. So I said, "Sir, what will happen after these things?"
