The Lord God has sworn by Himself—this is the declaration of Yahweh, the God of Hosts:

I loathe Jacob’s pride
and hate his citadels,
so I will hand over the city and everything in it.

Look, the eyes of the Lord God
are on the sinful kingdom,
and I will destroy it
from the face of the earth.
However, I will not totally destroy
the house of Jacob—
this is the Lord’s declaration—

When they had completely consumed the earth's vegetation, I said, "Sovereign Lord, forgive Israel! How can Jacob survive? He is too weak!"

Hear, and bear record in the house of Jacob,' sayeth the LORD God of hosts.

Lord Jehovah, cease, I pray Thee, How doth Jacob arise -- for he is small?'

Sworn hath Jehovah by the excellency of Jacob: 'I forget not for ever any of their works.
