Let them alone; they are blind guides; and if a blind man be guiding a blind man, both will fall into a pit."

And He spake also a parable to them: "Can the blind lead the blind? Will they not both fall into a pit?

In these were lying a multitude of those who were sick, blind, lame, withered, [waiting for the moving of the waters:

And there came to Him great multitudes, having with them the lame, blind, dumb, maimed, and many others; and they cast them at His feet, and He healed them;

so that the multitudes wondered, seeing the dumb speaking, maimed whole, and lame walking, and blind seeing; and they glorified the God of Israel.

And, passing along, he saw a man blind from his birth.

And His disciples asked Him, saying, "Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?"

They bring to the Pharisees him who was once blind.

They say, therefore, to the blind man again, "What do you say about Him, seeing that He opened your eyes?" And he said, "He is a Prophet."

The Jews, therefore, did not believe concerning him, that he was blind, and received sight, until they called the parents of him who received sight,

and asked them, "Is this your son, who ye say, was born blind? How, then, does he now see?"

His parents, therefore, answered and said, "We know that this is our son, and that he was born blind;

Therefore, they called a second time the man who was blind, and said to him, "Give glory to God: we know that this Man is a sinner."

He, therefore, answered, "Whether He is a sinner, I know not: one thing I know, that, though I was blind, now I see."

From remotest antiquity, it was never heard that any one opened the eyes of one born blind!

And Jesus said, "For judgment came I into the world; that those who see not may see, and that those who see may become blind."

Those of the Pharisees who were with Him heard these things, and said to Him, "Are we also blind?"

Jesus said to them, "If ye were blind, ye would have no sin; but now ye say, 'We see,' your sin abides."

And the blind and lame came to Him in the temple, and He healed them.

And, behold, two blind men, sitting by the road, hearing that Jesus was passing by, cried, saying, "Lord, have mercy on us, Thou Son of David!"

Others said, "These are not the sayings of a demoniac. Can a demon open the eyes of the blind?"

"Woe to you, blind guides, who say, 'Whosoever swears by the temple, it is nothing; but whosoever swears by the gold of the temple, he is a debtor!'

Fools, and blind! for which is greater??he gold or the temple that sanctified the gold?

Ye blind! for which is greater??he gift or the altar that sanctifies the gift?

And some of them said, "Could not This Man, Who opened the eyes of the blind, have caused that even this man should not die?"

"He hath blinded their eyes, and He hardened their heart, lest they should see with their eyes, and understand with their heart, and turn, and I should heal them."

Blind guides! straining out the gnat, and swallowing the camel!

Blind Pharisees! cleanse first the inside of the cup and of the dish, that its outside also may become clean.

but, when you make a feast, call the poor, maimed, lame, blind;

"And, coming near, the servant reported these things to his lord. Then the householder, being angry, said to his servant, 'Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city; and bring in here the poor, and maimed, and blind, and lame.'

And it came to pass, when He was drawing near to Jericho, that a certain blind man was sitting by the wayside, begging.

And they come to Bethsaida. And they bring to Him a blind man, and beseech Him to touch him.

And, taking hold of the blind man's hand, He brought him out of the village; and, spitting in his eyes, and putting His hands upon him, He asked him, "Do you see anything?"

And they come to Jericho: and, as He was going forth from Jericho, with His disciples and a great multitude, the son of Timaeus, Bartimaeus, a blind beggar, was sitting by the road.

And, standing still, Jesus said, "Call him." And they call the blind man, saying to him, "Be of good cheer; arise, He is calling you!"
