Now the Jews feast called the feast of tabernacles was near;
Go ye up to this feast as soon as ye please; for I am not yet going up to it, because my time is not yet fully come.
But when his brethren were gone up, then He also went up to the feast, not in a public manner but as it were in private.
The Jews therefore sought for Him at the feast, and said, Where is He?
But when it was now about the middle of the feast, Jesus went up into the temple and taught.
And on the last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, If any one thirst, let him come unto me and drink.
Now it was the feast of dedication at Jerusalem, and it was winter.
So they sought for Jesus, and said to one another in the temple, What think ye? that He will not come to the feast?
The next day a great multitude that were come to the feast, hearing that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem, took branches of palm-trees,
And among those that came up to worship at the feast there were certain Greeks:
Now before the feast of the passover, (Jesus knowing that his hour was come, when He should pass out of this world unto the Father, as He had loved his own, who were yet in the world, He loved them unto the end:)
For some of them thought, because Judas kept the purse, that Jesus said to him, Buy what things we have need of against the feast: or that he should give something to the poor.
saying, I must by all means keep the approaching feast at Jerusalem; but I will return to you again, God willing. So he sailed from Ephesus;
Wherefore let us keep the feast, not with the old leaven, nor with the leaven of malice and wickedness, but with the unleavening of sincerity and truth.
Let no one therefore judge you on account of meat, or drink, or in respect of a feast, or a new-moon, or sabbaths;
