And he saith to them, Come ye by yourselves apart into a desert place, and rest a while. For there were many coming and going; and they had no leisure, even to eat.

"Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool. What house will ye build for me? saith the Lord; or what is the place of my rest?

For he hath spoken in a certain place of the seventh day thus: "And God rested on the seventh day from all his works;"

and in this place again: "They shall not enter into my rest."

God appointed some in the church to be, in the first place, apostles, in the second place, prophets, in the third place, teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healing, those of helping and of governing, divers kinds of tongues. Are all apostles?

and he who invited thee and him come and say to thee, Give place to this man; and then thou wilt begin with shame to take the lowest place.

And having come to a place called Golgotha, that is, Place of a Skull,

and bearing his own cross, he went forth into the place called Place of a Skull; in Hebrew, Golgotha;

And they bring him to the place Golgotha; which is, when interpreted, Place of a Skull.

crying out, Men of Israel, help! This is the man that teacheth every one everywhere against the people, and the Law, and this place; and besides he even brought Greeks into the temple, and hath polluted this holy place.

Ye have not a narrow place in my heart, but ye have a narrow place for me in yours.
