The posts went out, being hastened by the king's commandment, and the decree was given in Shushan the palace. And the king and Haman sat down to drink; but the city Shushan was perplexed.

I am poor and expiring from youth: I bore thy terrors; I shall be perplexed.

[Note: Probably this is figurative language for highly agitated conditions on earth].

And as they were being perplexed about this, two men in dazzling robes suddenly took their stand beside them.
