Herein appeared the love of God to us ward, because that God sent his only begotten son into the world, that we should live through him.
But because the LORD loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, therefore he brought you out of Egypt with a mighty hand and delivered you out of the house of bondage; even from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.
And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love, and he that abideth in love abideth in God, and God in him.
