If ye shall keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love: even as I have kept my father's commandments, and abide in his love. These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. This is my commandment: that ye love together as I have loved you. Greater love than this hath no man, than that a man bestow his life for his friends. Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. Abide in me, and let me abide in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine: no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, and ye are the branches. He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit. For without me can ye do nothing. Because ye are sons, God hath sent the spirit of his son into our hearts, which crieth "Abba, father."
The same spirit certifieth our spirit that we are the sons of God.
Hereby know we, that we abide in him, and he in us: For he hath given us of his spirit.
And he that keepeth his commandments abideth in him, and he in him. And thereby we know that there dwelleth in us of his spirit, which he gave us.
This Jesus Christ is he that came by water and blood, not by water only: but by water and blood.
